We are delighted to share our student film 'Solar' has been nominated for a Royal Television Society Midlands Student Award in the Craft-Writing Category.

The film was conceptualised, written, filmed, and edited at BOA Stage and Screen as part of the SciFi London 48hr Film Challenge last June. The students, under the watch of Threewise Entertainment, were given the opportunity to lead their very own production. We are beyond proud of our former year 13 students (Bee Graves - writer, Connor Clifford and Lewis Hooper – directors) who brought it to life.

‘Solar’ was entirely student led with support by industry mentors, including Sindy Campbell from Film Birmingham, who also sponsored the project. The short film is about a young bot hiding out in an after-school club, seeking a human connection and a chance to live free.

We can't wait to see the result at the RTS event in April.
